Unique tooth design allows the blade to cut on both the up and downstroke. Cuts a little slower for more control, which is especially useful in delicate fretwork.
Skip tooth blades are available in more sizes than any other type Olson scroll saw blade.
For minimum material thickness of 3/32", minimum metal thickness of .100". These are the only metal cutting blades made specifically for power scroll saws.
For minimum material thickness of 1/8", minimum metal thickness of .120". These are the only metal cutting blades made specifically for power scroll saws. Jewelers or metal piercing blades are for use in hand held frames due to inherent brittleness.
These blades are preferred by many scroll saw users. They are easy to distinguish from our regular skip tooth fret saw blades as having two teeth together followed by a flat space for efficient chip removal.
The High Speed Steel material is more rigid allowing the blade to cut through sheet metal up to 1.0 mm thick as well as harder wood, carbon fiber, fiberglass, and nails.
